Marion Low
Marion Low spent a decade working in South Africa’s advertising industry as a copywriter and brand strategist. In 2008, she, her husband and their two children packed up their lives and moved to Aotearoa. They didn’t plan on Cromwell specifically - Marion likes to say “We might not have chosen Cromwell, but Cromwell definitely chose us.” And she’s endlessly grateful it did. Cromwell is the perfect place to raise a family, put down roots, and be part of something special.
Since arriving, Marion has poured her creativity and communication skills into the community. She spent five years in marketing and communications for the Cromwell Promotions Group, helping share the stories and events that bring our town to life. She now works with the Central Lakes Trust, continuing her passion for supporting great initiatives that benefit our region. Marion also dedicated seven years to the Fine Thyme Theatre committee, adding her spark to Cromwell’s growing performance arts scene.
Marion is delighted to be part of the Cromwell & Districts Community Trust team. For her, it’s a chance to give back to the place that surprised her, welcomed her, and became home. She’s excited to help shape a future where Cromwell remains vibrant, connected, and full of opportunities for the people who love it here - as she does.
